Ice cream with the Crockett's

I had the pleasure of flying to Salt Lake City last week for work. I was able to visit a little with my co-worker and her family in between work time! I always LOVE spending time with Kat and her three little ones. This was my first time meeting Ilikea. Boy, is she beautiful. I got to play with twins Ty and Kai whom I just love and adore so much. They are growing up so fast, I can't believe they are already 4 years old!!! It was so great to be able to hang out with the Crockett clan and work at the same time! I've posted some pictures of us eating ice cream! It was quite an adventure. At this cute little ice cream parlor you are able to pick your ice cream, then put on as many toppings as you want. You pay by weight. Ty got vanilla, while Kai ate chocolate. I went for the cream cheese ice cream so I could have strawberry's on top with graham cracker! I think kat went for the chocolate with snickers!! It was yummy! Well, I hope you enjoy.

This was the best frozen yogurt!!!

Girls being Girls

Here are some cute pictures of my girls and I in Vegas. We had a blast, and have made it a recurring event. Not only are these girls my friends, but they are my co-workers as well. Sherrie is the Sr. Staffing Manger whom does what I do, but staffs the southern CA region with relief pharmacist. Angela is our Vice President of Southern CA and recruits and sells for our company down in LA. Rocio is our little Christina Aguilera and she pays all of our pharmacist!
Sherrie is the more serious one with the best, most hilarious stories EVER! She is so detailed and original. Sometimes if your lucky, she even gets a little impersonations going on! Sherrie is gorgeous and has hair to die for!! We're always hearing people around us say, "We love your hair. The color is so beautiful." She's our little playboy mansion girl!!

Angela is our little worker bee, so when she gets out on a little weekend trip she lets down her hair and has fun!! She learns new lingo from Rocio and will carry out her knew words and lingo for the whole weekend! She comes up with a new nicknames for us all on a daily basis. She is also the one who has VIP treatment and gets us all into the best places. No standing in lines!!! Sherrie, Rocio and I all think Angela is soooo LA girl!!!

Rocio is our little genie in a bottle. She has the little spit fire tongue on her, and will let you know how to get jiggy wit it! She's our little 23 year old firecracker who makes us laugh hysterically. People are always staring at her when we walk by, and we know they are thinking, "Is that Christina? Should I say something?" but they never do. Its quite hilarious.

Baby Lola is growing up!

Baby Lola is growing big every day. Here are some new photos of baby lola growing through the months. She can't stop jumping on Whiskey, or stealing the wrapper from any type of food or bag. She especially loves loose receipts lying around. I always have my eyes on the little one, but I wouldn't change anything for the world. She's my sweetie pie.

July 2008

I know its been awhile since my last posting. Its been busy around the Gunnison household. For one, Tony and I brought home a new puppy! Her name is Lola bean. She and Whiskey run around this house like two crazy little kids!! I didn't realize how hard having a puppy around was going to be. She's a lot of work, but we wouldn't have it any other way! Tony is doing great! He has a new job at Producers. Its a manufacturing and distribution center around the central valley for milk, OJ etc. He's been there for about a month and a half now. He works long hours, but he loves working much better than not!! I'm still plugging away with my MBA with University of Phoenix. I finish in November, so i'm getting a little anxious!! That is about it! I was in a wedding in June for one of my best friends Christy! It was a beautiful wedding, and it was a joy to share in the celebration. Oh, I did go to Las Vegas with some friends at the beginning of May! Thats always fun:) Hopefully I will have more exciting news in the future. take care and I hope your enjoying the summer!!

April 2008

Well things in the Gunnison household have really been doing well. I just got back from taking a trip to San Diego to see how Tony's doing. It was a wonderful visit. The Lord has really been working on our relationship, and I feel we are very blessed. Tony has been down there for a little over eight weeks now. He just started a fiber optics and telecommunications certification class. He just had his first week and loves it. Its a total of six weeks. Four hours each night Monday through Thursday. Its working out great since he got a job down there Monday through Friday 7-3:30pm. Its long days, but after he's finished he will have a great skill so he can find a great job! He's really enjoying his class. After he finishes he plans on moving back up here. He has really been a great help with his brother and niece, but its really time for him to come home now! Its really been a blessing to see how the Lord is working in his life and providing him with the skills he needs to be a wonderful husband. Sometimes things come easily in life, and at other times you really need to work hard. Tony is working hard on his life decisions right now and he's really seeing the benefits from his labor. I praise the Lord that not only has the Lord shown Tony how to provide support to his family in San Diego, but he's shown Tony how to become a loving and supportive husband at the same time! I can't wait to have him home again!

I've been doing pretty well. I've been hanging with my friends a lot and doing lots of homework! I only have about five more months in the Masters Program and then I need to decide if I want a concentration. Most likely I will, but I can't even think about that right now since I just want this to be over. Its soooooo hard working and going to school non-stop. There are just a few breaks with school, and its only for one week when there is. I have one week off this next week, and i'm soooooo excited. Its my first week off since the week we had off for Christmas. I plan to relax and veg out a little. Oh yea, and I need to help put Christy Garcia's wedding invites together!! what a chore. Well thats about it for now. Hope all is doing well for everyone out there. Keep in touch.

Its been awhile!!

I know its been awhile since my last blog. Not much has been going on, but Tony and I have made a couple of major decision. We have decided not to go through with our house. It was a difficult decision, but after talking about it for awhile, we decided we were going to wait a little bit longer. I'm very sad, but at the same time I want to be clear that this is God's plan for our life. I had a little bit of doubts about this big commitment, and Tony felt the same way so we've put that on hold for now.

I've been hanging out with some close friends recently. I've been so wrapped up with my master's program, that I've forgotten about some of the really important things in life and that's being around your friends. Although I'm still committed to my studies, I need to let loose sometimes and just take some time for myself and rekindling those relationships.

Tony has decided to move down to San Diego. This has been a major change in our lives. He has more job opportunities down there, and he was getting a little discouraged up here. He is living with his brother and restoring a relationship with him that was missing for many years. Tony is becoming very active in his niece's life as well, and has been working really hard to become a strong and reliable husband. The Lord has really been working in both our lives, and I'm excited to see what He has in store for the two of us. It has been hard, but I know if we can both persevere, then the Lord will bless the both of us. Please pray for the two of us that the Lord will reveal His plans for both Tony and I, and that we would become a closer couple even though we're far apart.

New for the New Year

Well, so far its been an exciting start to the new year. The most exciting being the building of our new hom has started. They just laid the foundation on Tuesday January 15th! From this point on it will be about 2.5 months until they are finished. We just bought some boxes yesterday so we can start packing. The new home is located in South Fresno on Jensen and Peach. We are also excited since the interest rates have come down since we first started the loan process back in October. Exciting!!!

Tony and I have also been talking about adopting another dog once we move into our new home. It's Tony's decision on what kind of do since I already have whiskey. He says he wants a German Shephard, so we'll see!! We went to the S.P.C.A yesterday, and saw some of the cutest dogs. I wanted to take them all home. One in particular was a baby female German Shephard, which is exactly what Tony wants. It was so hard to put her back, but we can't adopt another dog till we have our new home.
